Leisures is proud to partner with The Freedom Project, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to ending human trafficking — one life at a time. The Freedom Project is part of a growing global movement of justice advocates committed to ending modern slavery by transforming lives and empowering communities through prevention, rescue, and restoration initiatives.

At Leisures, empowering women is at the heart of everything we do. We are passionate about helping women across Australia feel confident, valued, and truly great in what they wear. But our vision extends beyond our shores. Part of our ethos is that we care deeply about all women, everywhere, and we are committed to making a meaningful difference internationally.

In 2010, Leisures Owner and CEO Mike Newton-Brown co-founded The Freedom Project alongside his wife, Liz. What began as a single project in South East Asia has grown into a multi-country initiative operating in Myanmar, India, and the Philippines, supporting more than 10,000 vulnerable people each year. With a strong background in international aid and years spent serving overseas, Mike and Liz are driven by a shared passion to serve the vulnerable and oppressed, and to bring lasting hope to communities in need.

When you shop with Leisures, you’re not just investing in beautiful footwear, you’re helping empower women and support freedom initiatives around the world. Together, we can make a difference, locally and internationally.
